For Job Seekers:

Q: What will JobPreScreen actually do for me as I look for a job?
A: Our goal is to help you focus your job searches. We will evaluate your compatibility for the specific job providing a score of your compatibility across multiple dimensions: Experience, Potential, Hard Skills, Soft Skills, Cultural Fit. We will make suggestions on what you should emphasize in your resume and generate a draft cover letter that highlights your match to this position.

Q: Will you make my resume better?
A: Only you can do that. Our generative AI feedback and suggestions will give you ideas for improving your resume and writing a customized cover letter for the job to which you are applying. We never recommend that you lie or attempt to put hidden keywords in your resume to improve your chances. It does not work. Our goal is to help you make the improvements that will get you the interview. The rest is up to you.

Q: How much does this cost?
A: You get 5 job seeker evaluations for free just for registering an account. Just register and login. Then go to the JobPreScreen Summary page to see your free credits and give it a try. After that, you will need to buy Job Seeker PreScreen Evaluation credits. Once a month, if your balance of credits falls below 5, we'll add 5 more for free. If you need more than that in a given month, you can buy more at a very low price. Click here to for pricing and ordering. The credits you buy can be used any time. It's not a subscription and you will not be billed again and again. If you run out, you just buy more or wait for us to give you your next 5 free. We update balances on the 22nd of every month.

 

For Recruiters:

Q: What will JobPreScreen do for me as a recruiter?
A: Here are the basic steps:

  • We take your job description and use generative AI to produce a draft screening script.
  • You submit batches of resumes for evaluation in context with that job description in a zip file.
  • We evaluate each batch of resumes of your applicants using the same evaluation techniques as we do for individual job seekers.
  • We aggregate the results in a report that you may download into a CSV file for easy analysis in Excel. 
  • You weight the results as you see fit and determine which of the applicants you will review first.
  • We provide the same evaluation report for each applicant which you may choose to review and use in providing feedback to the applicant and within your recommendation to the hiring manager.

Q: How does this change what I do as a recruiter?
A: It will save you time and make you more effective in your application review process. It will aid you in preparing feedback and creating a candidate profile to submit to your client.

Q: How much does this cost?
A: The first two job description analyses and your first ten resume evaluations are free just for registering an account. Just register and login. Then go to the JobPreScreen Summary page to see your free credits and give it a try. After that, you will need to buy Recruiter Job Description Reviews and Recruiter Resume Evalution credits. For Hiring Managers:

Q: What value is there in using JobPreScreen for me as a hiring manager?
A: Many hiring managers do not use a recruiter. You can still benefit from the features of the recruiter tools at JobPreScreen. Your time is valuable and you want to be sure you are prioritizing your candidate review. You may even want to use the generated feedback to provide to candidates when you send a decline notification.

 

General Questions:

Q: Is this just gaming the system?
A: We believe that using generative AI in practical ways can help job seekers get better at looking for a job and recruiters at selecting the right candidates for detailed review. We do not recommend embelishing a resume just to fit a job. We do believe that our suggestions for improvement can help a candidate make their resume better and find ways to improve their odds of being selected for an interview. 

Q: Will this automate the hiring process?
A: No. Hiring decisions are best made by the humans involved in the process. Our goal is to make it easier.

Q: Why should I change what I'm doing now?
A: The status quo is always our biggest impediment. We recommend you give us a try. It's free try, no credit card required, and you may be surprised at how helpful we can be.
